Job Summary

The Workshop Incharge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring maintenance, repair, servicing, and production activities are completed efficiently, safely, and on time. The role includes supervising technicians and mechanics, managing workshop resources, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations.

• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of mechanics, technicians, and support staff.

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, vehicles, or equipment.

• Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safety standards.

• Diagnose technical issues and ensure timely repair solutions.

• Monitor inventory of tools, spare parts, and workshop materials.

• Prepare maintenance schedules and job cards.

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower and workshop resources.

• Maintain service and maintenance records and documentation.

• Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and materials.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Train and guide workshop staff on technical and safety procedures.

• Handle customer or internal department complaints related to workshop services.

• Prepare operational and maintenance reports for management.
